Chinese people celebrate Chinese new year on Feb

or March and it is very important to them. People start

preparing for the festival in advance. People clean

there houses and decorate them with red and

Gold coloured banners to welcome good luck.

Children get to wear new clothes and receive money

from there grandparents for gifts. People also make

traditional food that they serve on their family

reunion.Everyone including the children have

to stay up till twelve o'clock for chinese new year.

At twelve o’clock everyone wishes chinese new year.

The end of the celebration is marked by the lantern

festival when families spend time together. In China

the road is filled with lanterns.

Last week I heard about the news saying that a footbridge
in Miami in a America collapsed on some passing cars and
it may of injured people on the

Top of the footbridge.People exactly didn’t think that the

Footbridge would collapse but all of a sudden it collapsed.
There were some survivors and injured

And some went to hospital. 10 people got injured.
people went to hospital and some were sadly killed.

The footbridge was built after a

18 year old student got run over by a car from crossing
the road.

A witness on the scene said  ‘I was in my comic store reading
my comics.

Suddenly I heard a thunderous noise then I ran out of the

store and I looked at the collapsed footbridge. When I

heard people screaming underneath the collapsed footbridge
 I immediately called the Emergency

Service. The emergency service came within second’.

The investigators are finding out the reason for the collapsed
footbridge.People now in America are

terrified and do not trust crossing a bridge anymore.
