Chinese new year
Chinese people celebrate Chinese new year on Feb
or March and it is very important to them. People start
preparing for the festival in advance. People clean
there houses and decorate them with red and
Gold coloured banners to welcome good luck.
Children get to wear new clothes and receive money
from there grandparents for gifts. People also make
traditional food that they serve on their family
reunion.Everyone including the children have
to stay up till twelve o'clock for chinese new year.
At twelve o’clock everyone wishes chinese new year.
The end of the celebration is marked by the lantern
festival when families spend time together. In China
the road is filled with lanterns.
